We did not do breakfast in the hotel. We chose to do self catering and be independent. The hotel was fab, staff were pleasant and helpful. Everywhere was clean and spotless.

The pool area was a bit exposed as it was by the walk way. However, the view to the sea was lovely and the weather was bad and we did not avail of the pool area much.

The food was good. Muslim chefs who confirmed what was Halal and what wasn't. The room although small was comfortable.

There was no gym. The aircon lowest it could go was 21 degrees and this was not good enough. Did sleep with the balcony door open but there was no breeze due to being on the street side of the hotel.

What was the highlight of Hotel THB Gran Bahía

It was a very pleasant holiday with few compromises.

The hotel is pleasant, conveniently located right at the end of the sandy beach. It is perpendicular to the beach, so the rooms with partial sea views can vary considerably depending on how close or far from the sea the room is. We were lucky enough to have one of the last rooms on the top floor, so we had virtually the same experience as if we had requested a sea view - with full panoramic views to the south and west. It was beautiful! Check my pictures! The hotel isn't very big, it's not the most modern, but overall it's really okay. Any problems I will describe below in the appropriate place. Advantages are the location, the friendly service, the good food (we have been in better 4 star hotels with much more serious cuisine, but definitely one of the good ones, we always found a suitably tasty dish). It was particularly pleasant to walk along the promenade after dinner, this is because of the very good location. The room is adequate for two people, not too big. The beds are comfortable! The pillows are good, but they are all big. They were not small, we missed that a little bit.

First of all, as I said in the scoring, overall we had a very good time! At the same time, however, it is also worth mentioning the unpleasantness. The hotel has no private parking (as is usually the case in Mallorca). We could always easily find parking on the street a few metres away at the time of our trip, but in high season this can be a problem. Unfortunately our room was a bit run down. Not overall, just in some of its details. For example: the fold out sofa has a palm sized tear in premier plan, very ugly (if the hotel reads: room 604 - I think this should be fixed). Not worthy of a four star hotel. The glass on the edge of the balcony is cracked. The bathroom mirror has been worn around the baseboard. These are minor things but detract from an otherwise very good feeling of comfort. However, we didn't ask for a change of room because the last room on the top floor had such a sumptuous view that it made everything forgotten. As I wrote about the food, the choice is a little smaller than in the best four star hotels, but the flavours are, as I said, delicious. Only the grill corner is a bit slow. It's great that the food is freshly prepared in front of you, but it could be prepared a bit in advance - they only ever put as much on the grill as the person in line asks for.
